Our client, an International Company specialized in thefood-processing industry is hiring a Monitoring & Evaluation Manager M/F to accompany the development of its activities in Cameroon.

Description of tasks:

Support the development and implementation an MEL strategy (per the approved MEL Plan) outlining M&E systems for data collection.
Define tools and system.
Verify data quality.
Identify improvement points.
Design and coordinate farmers census survey on community development, productivity, child labor, farm services.
Regular mentorship of M&E Supervisors, through field visits.
In–field supervision of key M&E activities, with an eye to “perfect” quality standard.
Quality–control and supervision of data entry, with zero tolerance for data–entry errors.
Conduct regular trainings to improve skills of data collectors.
Lead the M& E team in the design of improved methods (i.e. improved methods formonitoring crop productivity) and tools (i.e. mobile apps for data collection).
Monthly reporting on key performance indicators with action plan implementation.
Monitor operational budget with finance support.
Coordinate and align data collection methods, data management, and reporting within the organization.
Profile :

Education:
Master’s degree required in statistics, economics, international development or relevant field, or equivalent.
Experience:
Work experience as Monitoring and Evaluation manager (min 4 years).
Experience in the agribusiness is a plus.
Specific knowledge, competencies and skills required:
Dynamic personality with strong managerial skills.
Fluency in French and English as well as computer literacy.
Be based in Yaounde and willing to travel within the country (30%).
Proven experience in managing multiple and competing tasks while maintaining quality of deliverables within deadlines.
Advanced oral and written communication skills in both English and French.
