GCSA operates a 1.6M Hl Brewery and packaging facility in Douala, (also covering logistics & procurement) producing a portfolio of Stout, lagers, RTDs and Malta, and has installed in 2016 a manufacturing line to produce mainstream spirits. A great number of Diageo International Spirits brands (J&B, Johnnie Walker, Baileys, Smirnoff Vodka…) are imported and distributed.

The role is based in Douala (Cameroon) and reports to the Head of Commercial Operations GCSA. There is frequent contact with the Corporate team, Customer Marketing & Sales team, Procurement team, local and regional marketing agencies and with the Global sales Team.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

As Sales Operations Executive:

Sales Orders management

  • Daily sales opportunities analysis (available for sale vs stocks holdings per SKU / per KD)
  • Daily Credit worthiness analysis – Level 1 (analysis of stocks needs vs credit head room vs cash in transit)
  • Sales orders capture (Loads in macro file per SKU per KD)
  • Sales orders follow-up with Shared Services (India) – Reallocation of stocks if orders rejected

Sales reporting

  • Twice / Thrice a day sales outlook
  • Daily sales report per SKU / KD – vs targets
  • Daily stock in transit report
  • Daily Cash posting report – including cash in transit
  • Daily Debt and overdue position at day close
  • Out of stock & missed sales tracking & reporting

Stocks management

  • Advises Logistics for stock replenishments in VOMI locations per quantity / SKU
  • Volumes loss reports
  • Daily sales report per SKU / KD
  • Daily stock in transit report
  • Daily Cash posting report
  • Daily Debt and overdue position at day close

Controls & Compliance

  • Consolidates distributors monthly payment plans & adherence to plans
  • Consolidates distributors loading orders
  • Ensures compliant Case fill rates (95%+)
  • Cash reconciliation with Treasury and Shared Services at month end
  • Filing and archiving of invoices / loading orders / payments
